About Young Vu
Growing up, Young Vu witnessed a lot of older generations with no medical background, which encouraged her to pursue a career in healthcare. “Teaching and educating the patients is my strong suit and favorite part of my career,” she says. She believes that improved health literacy empowers patients to take care of their health. She employs “mutual respect, empathy, and open communication” when building relationships with patients. She holds deep compassion for the senior population.
Young Vu grew up in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States when she was twenty-one years old. She loves cooking traditional Vietnamese dishes. She also enjoys hiking and watching her four sons play soccer in her free time.
