About Maris Ramsay

Since age four, Dr. Maris Ramsay has wanted to care for others. Animals were her focus for many years, but she changed paths in college and hasn’t looked back. As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Ramsay has helped patients of all ages. She’s even served in the Navy and taught university medical students. Now focused on seniors, Dr. Ramsay says, “I feel called to put my experience and training to use, helping our elders live healthier lives. My favorite part is educating them and their families, and researching complex issues.”

Married with two grown children and two grandchildren, Dr. Ramsay loves family time and cooking. She also likes to compete in endurance horse racing and take her two therapy dogs for nursing home visits.
