I care about them, not just as patients but as people.
About Arthur K. Kennedy
Dr. Arthur K. Kennedy’s desire to become a physician arose while watching doctors care for his mother after she suffered a stroke. His favorite part of his profession is “educating patients and encouraging them to take charge of their health.” He adds, “I care about them, not just as patients but as people.” Active listening and patience are key in his practice. He takes pride in serving as an advocate for his patients. He especially likes caring for the senior population. “They have fascinating stories,” he says.
When not with patients, Dr. Kennedy can be found reading, talking to friends, watching sports, and listening to African music. He also enjoys discussing politics and making educational health videos.
